Hi again!
I'm majoring in Strategic Communication and Communication Design at Elon University, with a minor in Psychology. I was born and raised in Medellín, Colombia, which shaped how I view communication, culture, and connection. Growing up bilingual in Spanish and English, and later studying abroad in Switzerland, where I learned German and strengthened my French, gave me a global lens that guides how I think about audiences, storytelling, and strategy.
My work is all centered around building meaningful, personal connections through clear strategy and thoughtful design. I've had many opportunities on campus to strengthen my skills in a professional setting. I've contributed to Alpha Xi Delta's Communications team, PRSSA, all things marketing and logistics at El Centro, and to the Communications Fellow program at Elon University. Across these roles, I've worked on social media management, campaign planning, visual design, and event communications. I enjoy bringing structure to creative ideas and making sure every project is grounded in purpose, audience awareness, and cultural context. I've also gained real-world experience as the Communications Intern at Burlington Animal Services and through The Plank Center & The Grossman Group'sEMERGE Leadership Academy.
Outside of my professional work, I love to travel, explore new places, and experience different cultures. I also enjoy cooking, experimenting with new recipes, and playing pickleball. At the center of everything I do is a love for connection, whether that's between people, brands and audiences, or ideas and visuals. Every project in this portfolio reflects how I think, what I value, and my passion for combining strategy, creativity, and human-centered communication.
